This Saturday, Clean Carolina will take place, and we would like to form a group to represent Preston in the event. It will be taking place this Saturday at noon, but we will meet in the Preston lobby at 11:45 am to walk over. So if you need community service hours or you would like to have some fun while helping out, please e-mail Edward Walsh or Mackenzie Arnold (our sustainability reps) to let them know if you have any questions. What is Clean Carolina?Clean Carolina is a campus-wide community service project in which students recognize and embrace their responsibility to keep our campus community clean by simply walking and picking up trash on campus. Of course, it is our hope that students will engage in their behavior throughout the year. However, Clean Carolina helps to serve as a reminder that we value a clean community and that we each play a role in ensuring that we have one.
This year, Student Government in partnership with Carolina Service Council is sponsoring the annual Clean Carolina campus beautification effort. Saturday, February 27 at 12:00 PM, we invite you or your organization to be a part of this annual event.
